HOME Welcome to the Mullens Harrison Family Archives. The family has been conducting genealogy research on our own and related families for over five generations and has a comprehensive data-set of information mainly in paper format. The Archive holds over 2000 personal letters (dating from 1750's to 1890's), Wills (Copies and Originals), Account Books, Portraits, Samplers, Reference Books, Photos, and Other Documents (e.g. Partnership papers). The bulk of the documents originating from the Harrison, Mullens, Watson and Dennett Families. Whilst we would like to be able to grant free access to the information held within the Archive we are currently unable to as the Archive is kept and funded entirely by the family. Preservation of the Archive is our utmost concern and to this end we are trying to digitise and transcribe as many of the documents as possible. This is an endless task as it has to be done in our spare time! We are currently preparing a searchable database of all of the names we have information on. This will be eventually linked to the various digitised images of the documents we hold. Meanwhile on this site you will be able to view freely some family trees as well as a couple of our many letters and other miscellaneous documents In genealogy people often only find out about the key events. Please be patient as a lot of our information can provide the "meat to some of the bones" and also show a glimmer of what life was like. In addition to being
able to look freely at some of our records we have also provided links to
enable you to search other archives, data holders and genealogy products that
may be useful.
